Summary: A Signal Officer retired from the Indian Army after having worked for over 32 years in the field of Telecommunications & Information Technology , Networking and HR Management.. A post graduate in (Physics & Electronics), Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations, Important Achievements May 2007 till 31 Oct 2008: Had been working with the IL&FS Ltd as a Consultant for the implementation of CSC Project in the State of Uttarakhand under the National e-Governance Plan (N e-G P) program of the Govt. of India and brought this project to the implementation stage in the State of Uttarakhand. Jan 2004 till 31 July 2006: established two new Nodes of the Army Switched Communication Network (ASCON) at two locations in Rajasthan for ASCON (Phase III), which were struck and cleared with my personal indulgence and negotiations with the State Govt. These projects could be completed within a short span of less than two years and after completing the installation of these ATM Switches, retired from there itself. Jun 1989 - Jul 1992: As a Senior System Manager, of the Army HQ New Delhi Node, I had the opportunity of installing a computer network system AMSS-III (Automatic Message Switching System - III) for the entire Army where I was responsible for coordinating its implementation between all the communication nodes located at each Command HQ as wellas both the systems installed at the Army HQ. I successfully carried out the testing, parallel running of entire network along with AMSS-II and simultaneously trained the technical work force.
