Summary: My passion is doing Applied Research & Development not just for intellectual satisfaction but for practical problem solving.. I feel there are tonnes of practical day to day or longer-run problems in various domains which require innovation, research, thinking out of the box for solving the problems we have been living with! Currently I'm a development engineer at Pramati Technologies. I've worked in various domains in my short career. As a Research Engineer at Siemens, in automated ECG Signal Analysis using Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Signal Processing Algoithms. Previously, I worked as Intern at Siemens (R&D) on Algorithms Research & Development for Vision based Pedestrian Detection System for Driver Assistance in Intelligent vehicles under Dr. Amit Kale. I did few mini-projects at Microsoft Research, Bangalore under Dr. Amitav Das which included Multi-modal biometric authentication system: using various fusion methodologies on modalities like frontal face image, speech and components of face to recognize a person. In Intel Corporation,I worked as CAD engineer (toggle coverage reporting of RTL design), Research Engineer (Mobile devices for Pervasive Healthcare), Application Developer (EMC Documentum, Enterprise Content Management System) at Intel Technology India I intend to to industrial R&D to solve present pain points of users, enhancing lives of people.
