The Data We Collect

Radaris processes specific categories of information to provide its Services, maintain platform integrity, and comply with applicable privacy laws, including the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act (OCPA).

1. Personal Data We Collect and How We Use It

Radaris collects and processes personal data from multiple lawful sources. This includes information you provide directly, data collected automatically through your interaction with our Services, and information obtained from public, licensed, or third-party databases.

The personal data we may collect includes, but is not limited to identifiers, (such as your name, email address, postal address, phone number, and IP address), account and subscription details, including login credentials, payment information, and billing records, search and activity history (such as queries, viewed profiles, and interaction logs within our Services), device and technical information (including browser type, operating system, and cookie identifiers), and information from external sources (such as publicly available records, data brokers, or verified business partners).

Radaris applies the same privacy safeguards and data-deletion rights to all personal information it processes, regardless of the source from which it was obtained.

All data processing activities are conducted for legitimate business purposes, including service delivery, compliance, security, and lawful recordkeeping, as further described in this Policy.

Cookies and Tracking Practices

Radaris uses cookies and comparable tracking technologies to maintain secure operation, ensure proper functionality, and improve overall site performance. These technologies may include cookies, web beacons, tags, and scripts. Each serves a specific, lawful purpose as described below:

  • Essential Cookies—Required for the core functionality of the website, including secure login, user session management, and language or preference settings.
  • Analytics Cookies—Used to measure traffic patterns and site performance. Radaris employs tools such as Google Analytics to understand how visitors navigate and interact with the Site and to identify areas for improvement.
  • Advertising Cookies—Utilized to present relevant advertisements and evaluate the effectiveness of Radaris’ marketing efforts.

Analytics and advertising cookies may collect general technical or geographic information—such as browser type, device model, or approximate location—but this data is not associated with any specific user profile or identifiable record.

Users can manage or disable non-essential cookies through the cookie-consent banner displayed upon their first visit or by adjusting browser settings at any time.

For additional control over analytics tracking, users may install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Add-on.

Radaris provides dedicated privacy management tools through its Data Privacy Center and Do Not Sell My Info pages, where users can review or adjust their privacy preferences at any time.

2. Pseudonymous and Derived Data

In accordance with OCPA § 646A.578, Radaris treats pseudonymous data as personal data whenever it can reasonably be associated with an identifiable individual.

Radaris maintains technical and organizational safeguards designed to prevent re-identification. Unique identifiers or re-identification keys are stored separately from other records and are protected from unauthorized access or use. These controls are intended to ensure that pseudonymous and derived datasets cannot be linked back to an individual without additional, secured information.

Whenever it is technically and legally feasible, Radaris allows individuals to exercise access and deletion rights with respect to pseudonymous data, consistent with applicable privacy laws and Radaris’ internal data-governance standards.

3. Transparency and Accessibility

Radaris provides full transparency and accessibility with respect to privacy management. All available privacy tools—including account management features, opt-out mechanisms, and state-specific privacy options—are accessible through the company’s Data Privacy Center.

These tools are public and do not require a registered account, ensuring that both users and non-users can exercise equal control over their personal information. Individuals may review, correct, or delete their data in accordance with the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act (OCPA) and other applicable privacy regulations.

A. Information You Provide Directly

Radaris may collect certain categories of information that you voluntarily provide when using our website, mobile applications, or related Services. This information is collected to operate our platform, provide requested services, and comply with applicable privacy regulations.

Although many Radaris Services are provided free of charge, certain features or subscriptions may require payment. In such cases, transactions are processed through secure third-party payment processors engaged by Radaris (“Billing Information”).

In addition to the information you provide directly or that is collected automatically, Radaris may obtain data from trusted external sources, including licensed data providers and publicly available databases. This information helps us maintain accurate records, improve the quality of our Services, and ensure that communications and offerings remain relevant to users.

It may also be used for internal analytics, verification, compliance, and other legitimate business purposes.

The categories of information we may receive from third parties include:

  • Contact details—such as names, email addresses, and mailing addresses.
  • Personal information categories (as defined under the California Customer Records statute, Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e))—including names, postal addresses, and similar identifiers.

Advertising

Advertisers and certain third parties may collect information about your activity on Radaris and across other websites or applications using various tracking technologies. The data gathered is used to determine which advertisements are displayed—both within Radaris and on external platforms—but it is not connected to your Radaris account or any personally identifiable information.

Radaris does not control, and cannot access, the information collected directly by these advertisers or third-party networks. However, most advertising networks, analytics providers, and marketing platforms allow users to opt out of targeted or interest-based advertising.

If you no longer wish to receive promotional emails from Radaris, you can:

  • Update your email preferences in your account settings, or
  • Click the Unsubscribe link included at the bottom of any promotional email.

Contacting You

By providing your contact details—such as an email address or telephone number—when registering for or using Radaris Services, you acknowledge that doing so establishes a business relationship with Radaris and expressly consent to being contacted using the information provided.

You confirm that you have the legal right to use any telephone number or email address submitted and that you authorize Radaris to communicate with you through those channels. This consent permits Radaris to contact you directly or through automated systems by means including, but not limited to, voice calls, recorded messages, emails, text (SMS) messages, or other communication methods supported by your device.

Radaris does not sell or share users’ personal contact information with third parties for marketing purposes. You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Standard message and data rates may apply, and message frequency may vary.

Transactional Communications

Radaris may contact you when necessary with information directly related to your account, activity, or purchases. These communications may include order confirmations, billing notices, subscription updates, or responses from customer support.

In some cases, Radaris may also send important service-related notifications—such as maintenance alerts, technical updates, or information regarding delays or issues affecting the Services you use.

Because these communications are necessary for the operation of the Services and the fulfillment of contractual obligations, they are not promotional in nature and cannot be unsubscribed from.

Service Providers

To support its operations and maintain the functionality of the Radaris platform, the company may engage trusted third-party service providers to perform specific tasks on its behalf—for example, processing payments, managing communications, or providing technical support.

When such services are used, Radaris may grant these providers limited access to personal information solely as needed to perform their contracted functions. All third parties are required to handle this information securely and in compliance with applicable privacy and data protection laws.

Electronic Promotional Offers

From time to time, Radaris may contact you by email with promotional updates, special offers, or information related to its Services.

You may choose to opt out of receiving these marketing communications—or prevent your information from being used for marketing purposes—by updating your Email Preferences in your account settings, emailing [email protected], or using the contact form available at https://radaris.in/page/contact.

You may also unsubscribe at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link included at the bottom of any promotional email or by closing your account.

Please note that opting out of promotional emails does not affect your ability to receive service-related or transactional communications, such as account updates, billing notices, or messages related to Services you have requested, which cannot be unsubscribed from.

Co-Branded Content

Certain sections of the Radaris website or applications may include content or features offered in collaboration with third parties—such as sponsors, advertisers, or service partners—who provide their own products or services (“Co-Branded Content Areas”). These areas will be clearly identified with the name or branding of the participating third party.

If you choose to register for or purchase products or services offered within a Co-Branded Content Area, your personal information may be shared in one of two ways: either you will provide it directly to both Radaris and the third party, or Radaris may share the relevant information with the third party to fulfill your request. In such cases, your data will be governed by both this Radaris Privacy Policy and the third party’s privacy policy.

Radaris is not responsible for the privacy or data-handling practices of third-party sponsors, advertisers, or partners. We encourage you to review the applicable privacy policy of any third party with whom you choose to interact before submitting your personal information.

Legal Matters

Where permitted or required by law, Radaris may access, preserve, and disclose your personal information, communications (including messages or other interactions within the Services), and any data associated with your account—without prior notice or consent.

Such disclosures may occur under circumstances including, but not limited to:

  • Compliance with legal obligations such as responding to subpoenas, court orders, or other lawful government requests.
  • Investigating or preventing fraud or misconduct, including suspected violations of the Radaris Terms of Service, unlawful activity, or conduct that may create legal liability.
  • Addressing emergencies involving potential threats to the safety of individuals or property, where the information may be relevant.
  • Responding to inappropriate conduct within Radaris Services or activities inconsistent with applicable laws or acceptable use standards.

Sale or Transfer of Business or Assets

If Radaris, or any portion of its business, Services, or digital assets, is sold, merged, or otherwise transferred as part of a business transaction—or in the event of insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership—personal information of customers and visitors may be included among the transferred assets.

Similarly, Radaris may disclose or transfer customer data in connection with financing, investment, or other strategic business transactions intended to support or expand its operations.

In all such cases, personal data will continue to be governed by the terms of the Privacy Policy in effect at the time the information was collected. Should ownership of your personal information change, or if its use materially differs from this Policy, Radaris will notify users by email and/or through a prominent notice on the website, along with information about available choices concerning their data.

Advertising and Analytics Data Collection

Radaris and its third-party partners may use a combination of first-party and third-party technologies—such as Google Analytics cookies, advertising cookies, and similar identifiers—to recognize returning users, measure engagement, personalize experiences, and deliver relevant advertisements.

These tools help Radaris improve service performance, understand user behavior, and present targeted content across Radaris Services and other digital platforms.

Pseudonymous Data

To enhance the functionality of its Services and help prevent fraudulent activity, Radaris may process certain data in a pseudonymized format, such as encrypted or tokenized user identifiers.

Radaris enforces strict security and organizational controls over such information, maintaining re-identification keys separately under secure technical safeguards to prevent unauthorized access or misuse.

While certain jurisdictions limit consumer rights regarding pseudonymous data, Radaris treats pseudonymous information as personal data whenever it can reasonably be linked to an identifiable individual.

Accordingly, consumers may exercise applicable rights—such as access, correction, deletion, and opt-out—where Radaris can verify their identity and locate the relevant information.

Radaris does not use pseudonymous data for marketing, profiling, or re-identification purposes, except where required by law or legitimate security obligations.

User-Generated Content

Some Radaris Services may include features such as public reviews, chat areas, or messaging tools that allow users to communicate or post content (“Communication Services”). Please note that any information you share in these areas becomes publicly accessible and may be viewed, collected, or used by others.

Content submitted through the Communication Services may be stored and redistributed by Radaris as part of the platform’s functionality. Users should exercise caution and avoid including personal or sensitive information in public submissions. There is no expectation of privacy when posting or interacting within these areas, and Radaris cannot control how third parties may use information you choose to make public.

If you wish to request the removal of personal information posted within a Communication Service, you may contact [email protected] or use the Contact Form. In certain cases, removal may not be possible; if so, Radaris will notify you and explain the reason.

Radaris reserves the right—but not the obligation—to monitor user activity and content within its Communication Services and to remove or restrict material that violates its Terms of Service or is deemed inappropriate.

  • Requests can be submitted through the Remove My Info page.

  • Any additional information provided for verification will be used solely to fulfill your request.
  • Please note that Radaris does not accept removal requests by fax or postal mail.

Some changes may take time to process, and certain data may be retained for legitimate recordkeeping or remain in secure backup systems.

3. Right to Opt Out of Sale of Personal Information

You have the right to opt out of the sale or disclosure of your personal information for purposes such as data sales, sharing, or targeted advertising at any time.

To exercise this right, visit the Do Not Sell My Info page.

Through this page, you can:

  • Opt out of the sale of your personal information;

4. Right to Non-Discrimination

Radaris will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.

This means you will not be denied access to Services, charged different prices or rates, or receive a different level or quality of service as a result of submitting a privacy-related request.

State-Specific Rights

If you reside in California, Oregon, Virginia, Utah, Colorado, Texas, Delaware, Connecticut, or Montana, you may be entitled—subject to applicable state laws—to the following rights:

Right to Know and Access

You may request details about the personal data Radaris has collected, used, shared, or sold about you, including:

  • The categories, sources, and purposes for which the data was collected;
  • The specific pieces of personal information held; and
  • The categories of third parties with whom it has been shared.

To review certain data, you may search your name and view the profile that appears. If specific information does not appear, it indicates that Radaris has not collected it—it may be available through other public sources.

Right to Delete

You may request that Radaris block specific records under its control from appearing in search results on its website.

  • Requests must be made directly by you or an authorized agent acting on your behalf and will require reasonable identity verification.
  • Radaris cannot remove data stored in third-party databases or external public sources.
  • Any additional details you provide for verification will be used exclusively to process your request.
  • To manage or remove your public records from the Radaris database, please visit the Remove My Info page.

How Radaris Processes Deletion Requests

When you request the deletion of your personal data, Radaris follows a verified and secure procedure to ensure that your information is processed lawfully and handled with care.

Your identity is verified using the information you provide, which we cross-check against our records. If automatic verification is not possible, Radaris may request limited additional details solely to confirm your identity. These details are used only for verification purposes and are deleted once the process is complete.

After verification, Radaris deletes or de-identifies all personal data under its control, including information you provided directly, data collected automatically through your use of the Services, and information obtained from lawful public or third-party sources.

We also instruct our service providers and contractors to delete or de-identify any related data, unless retention is required for legal, security, or operational reasons, such as fraud prevention or financial recordkeeping.

This process includes the permanent deletion or anonymization of your account details, payment records, search history, and cookies or tracking identifiers that could be linked to you. Encrypted or pseudonymous identifiers used for analytics or security purposes are de-linked or irreversibly hashed to prevent re-identification.

After deletion, Radaris’ secure backup systems may temporarily retain a minimal amount of encrypted technical data. This information cannot be accessed or used and is kept only for essential purposes such as system integrity, legal compliance, or disaster recovery. Backups are cleared and permanently deleted according to the company’s regular data-retention schedule.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time through the Radaris Data Privacy Center.

Radaris will confirm completion of your request or explain any applicable exception.

Please note:

  • Changes may not take effect immediately.
  • After deletion, limited information—such as a name or address—may remain temporarily visible in public record indexes or cached search engine results. This occurs only while external search engines (e.g., Google or Bing) update their listings. These cached references contain no active or identifiable data and are automatically removed once the search engines refresh their indexes or our retention period expires.
  • Radaris does not control public record databases and cannot guarantee that every instance of your information will be removed from external sources or third-party sites.

Right to Opt-Out

You have the right to opt out of the processing of your personal information for purposes such as data sales, data sharing, or targeted advertising.

To exercise this right, please visit the Do Not Sell My Info page, accessible from the footer of the Radaris website. This dedicated page allows you to submit an opt-out request and manage how your information is used across the Radaris platform.

Radaris does not sell or knowingly share the personal information of individuals under 18 years of age.

Submitting an opt-out request will also initiate the removal of your personal profile from Radaris search results. You do not need to have a Radaris account to exercise this right.

Right to Correct

You may request that we correct any inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.

To submit a correction request, visit the Data Privacy Center or contact [email protected].

Verification and Limitations

Radaris is required by law to take reasonable steps to verify your identity before processing certain privacy-related requests. In some situations, legal exceptions—such as matters involving public safety, legal privilege, or compliance obligations—may limit our ability to complete your request.

If your identity cannot be verified through the site’s authentication process, Radaris may request limited additional information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) solely for verification purposes. This information is used only to confirm your identity and is deleted once the verification process is complete.

Requests may be granted in full, partially, or denied, depending on the applicable legal requirements. If Radaris is unable to fulfill your request, you will be notified and provided with an explanation of the reason.

Right to Appeal

If you reside in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Texas, Tennessee, or Virginia, you have the right to appeal a decision denying your privacy-related request.

To file an appeal, please email [email protected] and include:

  • Your state of residence, and
  • Any supporting documentation relevant to your appeal.

If your appeal is denied, you may have the option to submit a complaint to your state’s Attorney General. Below are links to the appropriate complaint submission pages for each applicable state:

Authorized Agents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other applicable state privacy laws, you may appoint an authorized agent to submit a privacy request on your behalf.

Before Radaris can process such a request, both your identity and the agent’s authority to act for you must be verified. This verification process may require additional documentation and could extend the time needed to complete the request.

Authorized agents acting on behalf of a consumer must provide proper documentation verifying both their authority and the identity of the individual they represent. Radaris will not process a request until these verification steps are completed in full.

Proof of Authorization

The agent must provide one of the following:

  • A notarized authorization from the consumer that includes the consumer’s full name and address. This document must be signed by the consumer and clearly grant the agent authority to act on their behalf; or
  • A valid power of attorney issued in accordance with California Probate Code §§ 4000–4465 or other applicable state law; or
  • A copy of the consumer’s ID that clearly confirms their identity and current residency status;

Verification of Consumer Identity

For “Request to Delete” or “Right to Know” submissions, the following information must be provided to verify the consumer’s identity:

  • First, middle (if applicable), and last name;
  • Age;
  • Physical address;
  • The specific profile page URL on radaris.in;
  • Telephone number and the valid email address used by the consumer to interact with Radaris;
  • IP address of a consumer used to file a consumer’s request.

All required documentation must be sent to [email protected] for verification.

Requests are subject to a reasonable verification process, which can be initiated and completed through the Data Privacy Center.

Requests will not be processed until both the consumer’s identity and the agent’s authorization have been successfully verified.

Oregon Privacy Rights

Residents of Oregon may request a list of specific third parties (excluding natural persons) to whom Radaris has disclosed their personal data.

Such requests can be submitted through the Data Privacy Center or by email at [email protected].

Note:

You do not need a Radaris account to exercise your privacy rights. Any individual may submit an access, deletion, correction, or opt-out request through:

Radaris verifies each request only to the extent necessary to confirm the requester’s identity and prevent unauthorized or fraudulent submissions.
